For a while now I’ve been troubadouring around on my tod. I enjoy the freedom and I like the intimacy of that sort of show. I also really like playing as part of a group, which is partly why I usually record with other musicians. What’s the point in practicing all those years to sit around playing by yourself eh?

For that reason there is very little recorded evidence of the style of my one man show. Until now…

On the 19th of February 2023 I was chatting with my friend, frequent collaborator and hero Euan Burton and it occurred to me that we could make a live album very easily in a space near my own studio. So, I put a shoutout on socials for an audience and an hour later I had 36 people who were game and we did the show 3 days later on Feb 22nd in the store room of La Chunky Studios in the hidden lane. I hope you enjoy it.
